🚨UPDATE: At Least Six Killed After Small Plane Crashes Into Residential Area of Northeast Philadelphia. The aircraft was an 'air ambulance' that crashed upon takeoff, a Learjet 55. The plane was en route to Springfield-Branson National Airport in Missouri. Police are recovering a piece of the plane embedded in a vehicle near the impact zone for investigation. The National Transportation Safety Board, in tandem with the FAA, will be investigating the cause of the crash. Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker does not confirm any reports of fatalities on the ground. She asked residents to stay away from the scene and avoid touching any debris.
