BREAKING | Multiple Suspects Detained at Downtown LA Starbucks Police detained multiple suspects Saturday afternoon following a large law enforcement response at a Starbucks in downtown Los Angeles. Officers surrounded the location near 1101 S Grand Ave after spotting suspected robbery suspects inside the store. Authorities ordered people out with their hands up while establishing a perimeter around the area. At least four suspects were taken into custody, while additional suspects were believed to be inside the Starbucks during the incident. Three employees reportedly barricaded themselves safely in the back of the store. Police also investigated a white Toyota Camry believed to be connected to the suspects.
