Let that sink in for a moment. ‼️ Yes, this is the same Khadar Hussein Abdi who sat in silence, under an intentional media blackout, as Somaliland’s President was branded a mere “regional secessionist leader.” 🔴 A moment of national humiliation etched in history. 🗣️ In all my years as a proud #Somaliland citizen, never have I witnessed such capitulation, such a soft surrender in the face of foreign disrespect, delivered by an official tasked with safeguarding our sovereignty. 👉🏽 Let’s put this into perspective. Imagine a Palestinian official declaring: "Yes, the Americans arm Israel, and the West continues to fund them. Israel claims the land, so we must accept that reality, and we should not die for it." Absurd? Absolutely. And yet, that very logic now echoes from the corridors of power in #Hargeisa. 🔊 The blood, sweat, and tears that forged Somaliland’s reputation, its peace, its democratic experiment, and its pursuit of international recognition, are now being casually undermined by a handful of individuals. Even more damning is the silence from Somaliland’s supposed opposition Mohamed Kahin Ahmed KULMIYE Party Muse Bihi Abdi 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ Their silence is not leadership. It suggests complicity or worse, a pre-negotiated consensus hidden from the people. In any democratic society, opposition exists to hold power accountable. 🚨Breaking: Somalia’s president just admitted on air that the only thing Somali-speaking people across the horn truly share is Islam. With one statement, he shattered the long-running “One Somali” myth used to prob up the failed state narrative pushed by Somalian expansionists and kacaan remnants. We’ve said this for years. It finally slipped out at a critical moment. I agree with him. Beyond religion, we share nothing with #Somalia that we don’t share with the rest of the Muslim world.
