With Hockey Fights Cancer Night tomorrow, I wanted to post a moment our broadcast family shared, a moment honoring two extraordinary people. Earlier this year, Willy lost his incredible wife, Erin, after a brave and inspiring battle with cancer. Erin lived with a radiant brightness, pouring Light, Love, and Positivity into everyone she met. She truly was an angel among us. We miss her every day, and her spirit continues to shine through all who knew her. To honor her legacy, we presented Willy with “The Big E Belt of Light, Love, & Positivity.” I called her “The Big E” because her energy, her heart, and her love for others were simply bigger than any name could hold.
