The registration portal for the scheme, which provides ₹2,500 per month in financial assistance to eligible women, will open on 1 August. Delhi’s new EV Policy will come into effect on 1 July 2026 and remain in force until 31 March 2030. It marks a decisive step towards reducing vehicular pollution and accelerating the transition to electric mobility. Over the next four years, the Government will invest ₹7,000 crore, while Delhiites are expected to receive nearly ₹15,000 crore in benefits through incentives, tax exemptions and expanded EV infrastructure. Designed to make electric mobility more affordable and accessible, the policy follows a phased, uncapped approach.
