The Chase: The Account Killer 🚩 Over my 15+ years of trading & a lifelong passion for poker i have witnessed one emotional trap destroy more accounts than any other. I have seen it called "Chasing losses", "revenge trading", "getting even", "throwing good after bad", "gamblers fallacy"... etc Whatever you call it, the core impulse is the same: the desperate urge to "get back to even" This single mindset has blown up more trading accounts than bad strategies, market crashes, or black-swan events combined. It was also the root cause of some of my own most painful drawdowns My worst single-day loss? Upwards of $250,000. All because I refused to walk away after turning a +$5,000 day into a small loser. Instead of shutting it down, I doubled down, chased the market, and watched the red numbers spiral out of control. That day taught me a brutal truth: the market will always be open tomorrow. Your capital might not be!!! The best move when emotions take over? Step away. Shut it down. Come back fresh another day. Protect your capital first everything else can wait.

To be honest.... I dont care If I get knocked down If i take a loss If im judged If it takes longer Its only failure when I give up. Im not the best. But im better than I was yesterday. A little black eye or daily loss limit wont stop me.
