Good morning and where do I start? I’m so proud of the man you’re becoming and I’m so thankful to have you in my life. The first player I met and the first player I had dinner with after I became the receivers coach at Baylor. Yes I’m speaking it into existence but it’s also the feeling I have when I tell you God truly has a calling on your life. The person you are lets me know the lord is and will continue to bless you more than you can imagine. I love you like a son, little brother, nephew, etc…. Played receiver for a big time program like Baylor, played in the NFL, from the great state of Texas but more importantly a GREAT person and man of God. So you have all the tools you need to be successful in this coaching profession but more importantly LIFE! I’m so thankful to be a part of your journey. I’m going to do EVERYTHING in my power with the help of God to make sure you succeed. I told you this and I truly believe it. You’re the next great coach/receivers coach. How about that? I won a SEC championship, national championship and was a draft pick. Still not playing offense but starting on all four phases of special teams. Very humbling but also a blessing. The first day of spring ball scrimmage always gives me extra juice. IF YOU’RE JUICELESS, YOU’RE USELESS. Nope! I don’t take anything for energy. Those who know this is me!! Other than 20 vitamins a day, beet juice every morning, lemon water and drink ginger. There are four areas satan will attack to distract you from what God has for you. 1) Family and Friends 2)Financial 3)Job 4) Yourself, such as mentally or physically Not necessarily in this order and not always one by one. The devil will sometimes times attack all four areas at once. Pray, trust in God, fight to smile through it all and keep grinding. Remember a rose doesn’t only grow from the sun but also the rain. The devil can play his games but Jesus has given you the playbook for victory!!! ✊🏾🙏🏾❤️💯

The coolest thing for me as a kid wasn’t only finding out my uncle was a professional football player for 11 years but seeing the “Karate Kid” wearing his jersey in the movie. Wes Chandler the great wide receiver to EVER play at the university of Florida! Also a college and nfl receiver coach for years. Taught me to be a man,husband, father, player, coach, protector and provider. If you want to know who Dallas Baker is this is a great example. Because of coach Meyer receiver coaching ability he became a legendary head coach without ever being a coordinator.
