Edging is a practice of mindful pleasure, one that can heal old wounds around shame. When edging, you become hyper aware of the sensations of pleasure within your body, and you can learn how to relate back to your body in a ways that's grounded and safe. Special thanks to The Prince Of Edging (Capetown 🇿🇦 11/19-11/29) for this practice.

AFFIRMATIONS FOR YOUR HEALING Choose 3 affirmations at a time that are deeply resonating with you. Meditate on them daily by repeating them as often as needed for 21 days. Get creative here (write them on sticky notes, make them your phone background, email them to yourself, share them with a friend, fall asleep with them on a note under your pillow). Notice how you feel after the 21 day window. ✨

If you get aroused during a naked guided meditation, that’s okay ✨ A shared component of meditation and working through body shame is the practice of acceptance. When arousal happens during sessions, accept it — and let it be okay. That doesn’t mean you need to do anything with it. Let your body respond how it responds (and it’s super common, especially during a practice that’s so freeing, liberating, and healing) Being with your body — however it responds in the moment — is what coming back home to yourself looks like 🧘♂️

Earlier this summer, I had the privilege of spending time with Edge King LA 😈💦 in Los Angeles. As someone with a history of receiving unsafe touch, experiences like this remind me that healing isn't just about processing the past. It's about giving your body new experiences that teach it safety. This scene was about pleasure, trust, presence, surrender, and reminding myself that vulnerability and safety can coexist. Sometimes the most healing thing we can do is let ourselves receive. Video available now.

The practice of a naked guided meditation is for healing your relationship with your body. To hold this space safely for you, I need to ensure your intention is for your own healing. If this sounds like you and you could use some guidance and support in learning to love yourself again in a safe and empowering way, I’m your guy. 🫂 Send me a message. ♥️

Returning home to yourself, your body, and your joy is a critical part of the shame-release process. Start here: Make 1️⃣ choice today for no other reason than “I want to” and “it feels good to me.” This could be going for a walk because YOU want to enjoy the sunset. It might be touching your body as you shower to notice the “good” sensations on your skin. It might be smelling your clean clothes for extra long because the scent is so lovely. Whatever it is, give yourself permission to start experiencing some pleasure today. When you give yourself this time, you’re saying to yourself, “I’m allowed to feel good, and feeling good is safe.” This is how you heal, and this is how you start returning home to yourself.
