I wonder if AI video will eventually make “pre-production” more important, not less. When generating footage is easy, there’s less reason to figure everything out afterward. Instead, you can think through the world first. GPT-6 Astra maps the environment and lets me establish camera movement and character paths in the Viewport. I then manually bring the 3D scene into CapCut PC, render it with Seedance 2.5, and continue the workflow in CapCut PC. That starts to look surprisingly close to traditional filmmaking: Previsualize → shoot → edit. Maybe AI isn’t removing production stages.
