This veteran was homeless with nowhere to turn. One phone call. One act of kindness from this community. Within 48 hours we secured housing, paid the first month’s rent, and got him back on his feet. He told us: “For the first time in years, I feel like someone has my six.” This is what Code of Vets does every single day. We’ve helped over 8,000 veterans and raised nearly $8M because patriots like YOU stepped up. We’re closing in on 500K followers. Help us hit this milestone so we can reach and rescue even more veterans in crisis. Every follow, share, and donation amplifies the mission. 👉 DONATE NOW to change another life: Mail checks: Code of Vets 9550 Spring Green Blvd, Ste 408-025 Katy, TX 77494 We take care of our own. One vet at a time. 💪🇺🇸 #CodeOfVets #500KForVets #OneVetAtATime

Every dollar matters. There are no words when we see a veteran getting a second chance at life🇺🇸🙏🏽These keys are sacred. It symbolizes that this veteran has a place to call home. You did this. We did this. #codeofvets

ATTENTION: Veterans Affairs VA Secretary Doug Collins When a 100% service connected veteran with multiple combat tours reaches out for a counseling session for PTSD related issues and has to wait for a month??? That is a problem. He was also removed from the VA system for being aggressive on the phone after waiting a month to speak to staff just to get scheduled (he was politically incorrect with his statements in reality) This staff member made a huge decision because he was offended. Thank God his PCP saw what happened and called the veteran to find out what happened. Can we do better with faster care for veterans in crisis and consistent appointments…Also, bouncing from therapist to therapist is not helpful either. DM me for this veteran’s contact info. He served almost 30 years.

UPDATE: Our Marine vet Dan is having surgery today at 2pm. He has multiple broken bones and ribs. Many injuries. I spoke with him last night. Let’s see if we can get him a safe vehicle. No more motorcycles. We are taking care of our own.

My name is Gretchen Smith, Founder of Code Of Vets. I am giving my full support to Pete Hegseth for Secretary of DoD. Pete will make our military strong and respected, but most importantly, the most lethal fighting machine on this planet. #Pete4SecDef

want to give a big shout out to the Veterans Affairs Deputy Chief of Staff Josh Quill and Chief of Staff of National Cemeteries Admin Cortney McCormick for contacting me last night and working to secure our veteran family who needs to arrange transport for their veteran when he passes. Teamwork is critical. Thank you to everyone who shared this mission. You got it in front of the people who can get things done. Our mission is sacred. We are taking care of our own. One veteran at a time.

Our systems are operational. We do have a line of veterans in various stages. Please share the individual veteran missions as I post them out. We need donations to match the level of needs we are dealing with…I know it takes time. Let’s do this together as a team. Taking care of our own. 🇺🇸
