Oracle started layoffs on September 14th (started in US, tomorrow India) I am reading the stories of Oracle layoffs on Reddit. One guy shared his story -He woke up & got ready -Went to office like any other normal day -His badge is not working at gate -Realized that he lost his job Couldn't imagine what he might be going through now

I got one DM... he said, "Bro.... I can code in node.js without using AI" I was just like him when I was in college.... But now... its been a year... I didn't write single line of code in office... all I gave was English prompts to Cursor & Claude to complete my tasks... This was not what I thought I will be doing when I got my first job.... Fuck Cursor... Fuck Anthropic... Fuck Scam Altman for changing my life.....
