Dive into the final blog of our Highlight Series on the 2023 Africa Domain Name Industry Study! 🌍 🌟The domain name industry in #Africa is predicted to have remarkable growth, with an approximate 12.4% annual growth rate. By the end of 2023, 📝 #ccTLD registrations soared to 4.33M, and #gTLDs hit 1.4M registrations 📝. Despite the growth projections, some challenges continue to curb the expansion of the industry 💬. The biggest barriers remain to be the high cost of domain names, and the cost of Internet access. Other challenges such as regulatory policies may complicate the expansion of businesses in some African countries. 🌐The #CoaltionForDigitalAfrica's mission is to create a platform for collaboration between African governments, businesses, academia, technical actors, and other stakeholders. With this goal in mind, we uphold the path forward to foster a thriving African digital landscape.
