Smuggling bust at Tarqumiya Crossing: hundreds of tobacco pouches were found hidden inside an international donation of wheelchairs bound for Gaza. COGAT Head MG Yoram Halevy has ordered an immediate investigation, and security enforcement will be strengthened. Exploiting medical aid for smuggling undermines vital humanitarian efforts. Hamas wants you to see a collapse. The reality on the ground says otherwise. Food is filling the markets,enough for sustained ammounts of time, medical centers are active, and aid is consistently exceeding international requirements. The only real barrier? Hamas terror They cynically steal vital resources to power terror networks instead of providing for their own people. The facts speak for themselves. Don't believe Hamas lies.

What you need to know about humanitarian aid for #Gaza: ➡️Since May 19, and in accordance with the directive of the political echelon, aid enters Gaza through two primary channels: 1. Distribution sites operated by Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, where weekly food packages are provided to families; 2. The entry of complementary aid coordinated with the UN, international organizations and countries, which includes raw materials for local bakeries and communal kitchens. ➡️Recently, close to 4,500 trucks entered Gaza, including flour for bakeries and 2,500 tons of baby food and high calorie special food for children. ➡️Over the past month, there has been a significant decline in the collection of humanitarian aid from the crossings by international aid organizations. As of now, the contents of approximately 950 humanitarian aid trucks are awaiting collection on the Gazan side of the Kerem Shalom and Zikim crossings. These trucks are just waiting there. ➡️The collection bottleneck remains the main obstacle to maintaining a consistent flow of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, despite Israel’s proactive efforts to expand the volume of aid trucks entering the area.

This is what the content of 700 aid trucks looks like. It is waiting on the Gazan side of Kerem Shalom to be picked up by United Nations agencies. We scaled up our capabilities. All the UN did was make up excuses. Aid needs to be collected and delivered. The UN needs to do its job.

This morning, a World Food Programme bakery reopened in northern Gaza. This bakery produces approx. 650,000 pita breads daily. This bakery joins 2 other bakeries that reopened in central Gaza last week. More than 23 bakeries are operational in Gaza, providing over 3 million pita breads daily.

LISTEN: A Gazan merchant exposes reality and describes how Hamas enters warehouses, seizes goods, and prevents the free sale of food that was brought in. There is food. There are supplies. The temporary closing of the crossings for security reasons did not affect the amount of food in Gaza. There is no free market in Gaza. Gazans are paying the price for Hamas in power.

All the trucks you see here entered Gaza from Egypt. Every day, hundreds of trucks enter Gaza from Israel, from Jordan, and from Egypt in coordination with the UN and international organizations. The trucks enter continuously and without a quantitative limit. They go through a security inspection to prevent the smuggling of prohibited goods and the exploitation of aid by Hamas. Hamas hasn’t stopped attempting to take over the aid and other smuggling attempts. But we will continue expanding our efforts, facilitating aid for the civilian population – not Hamas.
