Positivity Rant: I was in Cabo with this guy who had just sold his company for $900M. He offered me a trade: "Let's swap lives." I'd get his private jet, his house in Cabo, and his billionaire status. He'd get to be me - 27, with his whole life ahead of him, & another chance to play the game of life. I realized I had it better. It made me realize 2 things that changed my life: 1) If you're young, you have the most valuable thing of all: your whole life ahead of you. You still get to play the game. 2) Life is all a big game. Imagine if someone life swapped with you...how would they be playing your character better than you are? What would they be doing differently? How much more fun would they be having? This was hands down one of the best thoughts I've ever had. I discuss:

One of the best speeches you can ever hear JK Rowling on Failure. I have 3 distinct quotes that substantially rewired my mindset: 1. Being set free because of failure 2. Good thing she didn't have some success at something she didnt love (a traditional job) which forced her to do what she really was called to do 3. that last line...so good... which part is your favorite?

It's actually so simple. Walk up to the bouncer and ask a stupid question. Hey man, is this where you come in? While he answers, slip him 20 bucks. Suddenly you're inside. On your way out, slip him another 20. Same everywhere else. Ask the bartender their name. Talk to the waiter. Learn the hostess's name. Everyone chases the chef. But you never get to the chef without the doorman who decides if you get in, or the hostess who decides where you sit. Be curious. Be interested in people. Be fully present. Watch how fast life opens up. Comment DOORMAN and I'll DM you the full episode

One of the highest ROI things to do is pretend you died in your sleep & when you wake up it’s like being brought back to life Imagine how happy you’d be. Imagine how little you’d take things for granted. How grateful you’d be How much easier youd be on yourself How much more you’d love How much more fun you’d have This is beautiful & worth the watch:

Charm is the secret to unlocking the world. At 22, I got put in a room to pitch a $450 million deal, rooms they don't even let 35-year-olds into. Think of it like selling a house, except the house is a $450M company and every bank in the city is fighting to be the agent. How good does it look to have a 22-year-old presenting? We got in the room. Of course we won the deal. That's the lesson: it pays to be the guy who can charm the room. Nobody teaches you that skill, but it changes everything.
