Nowlan park on what could only be described are a dire day for a hurling match. Cork has not won here in nine years. That was then and this is now though. Very impressive team performance. Nine changes to the starting line up! It’s early doors but this Cork team look more determined than ever. There is a real edge to them. They are playing like it’s for their lives. Each and every player knows training is the hardest game they face each week and no one is guaranteed his starting spot. I actually mean that. Ben is not afraid. He just wants to win. Last Wednesday I took my eighth year old autistic son to his first ever GAA inter county hurling championship match. It was on in the home of Cork hurling Pairc ui chaoimh and the two teams battling for glory were Tipperary and the rebels themselves Cork. It was a spectacular evening and hope was fresh in the air. #gaa #hurling #cork #tipperary #championshiphurling #irish #autism
