Fuel trucks have been delivering aviation fuel to the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) at Laem Chabang Port in Thailand, with 20-30 trucks observed entering and leaving daily since the carrier docked. It's stored aboard to supply the Carrier Air Wing Nine (CVW-9): F-35C Lightning II stealth fighters, F/A-18E/F Super Hornet strike fighters, EA-18G Growler electronic warfare jets, E-2D Advanced Hawkeye early-warning aircraft, and MH-60 Seahawk helicopters.

The U.S. Navy has awarded Boeing a $562 million Fixed Price Incentive contract for Lot 1 Low-Rate Initial Production of the MQ-25A Stingray, covering three aircraft and bringing the total under contract to 14. The MQ-25 Stingray is an aerial refueling drone set to replace the F/A-18E Super Hornet in that role within the Carrier Air Wing, freeing up more fighters for operational missions.
