Ineos and Amorim’s 1st choice striker by the way. Liam Declapped. How can a target striker be bullied like this? Dodged massive bullet only by chance. This is why I still can’t trust this project yet

Gaslighting at its finest. We never struggled THIS much against a low block under any manager other than Amorim. This is how we broke down low blocks with close-proximity, fluid combination play under ETH 🎥

Amorim when asked about in the past if Lisandro could be an option in midfield: “It’s not the right position for him” What does it tell you about his profiling ability? We always hear squad is limited but is the coach not limited? “Only has Ugarte eh”

Amorim: “I don’t know. I have to check” Carl Anka: “Pls forgive me for this question, you said I don’t know multiple times…” Amorim with attitude: “when? when? when I said I don’t know. Pls tell me *angry*? Bro you literally said it twice just now? 😭

Amorim build-up 🎥 long ride ahead 😮‍💨 — new season old problems — meh 523 OOP again — to little of 442 pressing — build-up pattern is too predictable — all build-up from Yoro right side — Mount F9 wasted, better moved 10 — needs Sesko to hoof it to

Few first half highlights: — Hojlund is rapid but still sloppy — Cunha R10 interchange at times — Bit sluggish on transition esp. Cunha — Players are sharper notably Ugarte — But same meh 523 OOP shape — WB pinned back; Amad — Can’t control possession

Minute 78’ — one goal down, water break. What do managers do? No-one ever will be inspired to play for this manager.

#CarrickBall build-up 🎥 We went from not being able to build up or string two passes at the back to playing 1–2 rondos like prime Barca vs City And they’re still telling me Amorim and his system weren’t the problem Just look at Kobbie Mainoo now man😭

Credit to Amorim where it is due. Adapted game plan to opponent. — High press instead of mid-block — 442/3412 press shape (Bruno higher Cunha!) — Blocked Brighton central progression — Mixed long balls & short build-up Aggressive press won this game 🎥

We used to build-up effortlessly and score like this, yet for our standards it was still not good enough. But now we see mental gymnastics for just a bounce pass that led to nothing — saying it’s best build-up we had last 7 years…

When you realize the next supposed “evolution” of Amorim’s system is gonna be 2nd-season Ten Hag’s suicidal 3-1-6 😭💀

Amorim ball we all know and love is truly back. Few game notes in sub-tweet and present you the clip of Amorim trademark build-up. Good night 😅

Patrick Dorgu for Everton [24/11] 🎥 Simply stoppable on this day. Can’t even blame him. It’s on Amorim splashing 35M on a “starter” who probably needs a loan to learn how to start. Then platforming him incorrectly like he’s prime Ryan Giggs

Life after Amorim 🔥 #FletcherBall 🎥 We can build-up, play through, play over & play around! Press, counter-press. No stress. Just pausa & progress “Same game” — No. Any pro analyst will tell you this is visible improvement. And it can only get better!

Don’t even think we played bad today, but a 50/50 model only gets you so far 🎥 C10 & M19 busted balls to keep build-up going, but system hinders — 3 CBs, less bodies in the middle, ball stuck at the back, transitions with less threat running to the 📦
