This was my full design for Jharana and Sonam's Temple. The intent throughout was balance and symmetry, letting the mandala shape echo outward into the full layout of the city. Then the real magic happened when Kat Tsai brought it to life with what you see in the film!

Pat Hedge This seems to have resonated quite a bit with people! Just to illustrate how far this goes, this is a snippet of the entire Southern Air Temple I designed/created for the film. ..and yes it is built so someone could walk from the bottom gates all the way to the top!
