It's sad to see the state Daniel Adongo is in today. Daniel played in the NFL,something that every American football player dreams of achieving and he made it. He also represented Kenya in rugby. It makes you wonder how someone who reached such incredible heights ended up in this situation. It's truly heartbreaking.

When the government was killing its people in 2024, the country needed more courageous people to stand up and defend it. Many people called me stupid for risking my job to fight for my country. You will always pay for it one day, and if you don’t, your generation will. A perfect example is Moi’s grandsons. I was listening to Juliani’s song “Niko Tayari, Kulipa Gharama, Sitasimama Maovu Yakitawala.” For a country to be better, it needs selfless people. This year alone, I’ve spent 20 days in police cells. People like Dedan Kimathi died for their country. Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison. When I opened up about my situation, government bloggers attacked me. But I’m grateful to Kenyans who motivated me to keep pushing and encouraged me to create a paybill.
