Telangana Police! OP Trucked Shyamal : Open extortion in the name of excise on Telangana border! Today, as I entered Telangana, I saw that at the same border which was closed by the government a long time ago, illegal extortion of ₹20 to ₹200 was being done from truck drivers in the name of excise. As soon as I stopped, I was asked for ₹200, and my camera recorded it all. The most astonishing thing was that the guard demanding the money had no proper uniform, no nameplate, no cap. He was standing in slippers and a shirt with broken buttons, accompanied by a private officer. When I protested, their in-charge arrived. He was also wearing slippers and without the proper uniform. I asked him tough questions, and after a while, he changed his clothes and returned in full uniform. After that, I spoke to him openly and registered my protest about the entire matter. Latur, Maharashtra Police ! Are we waiting for people to die at the hands of such Police Officers ? When are we going to say enough is enough ? The role of the traffic police is to regulate traffic, enforce road safety, and issue penalties (challans) for violations. They do not have the authority to inflict physical punishment on citizens. Any act of physical violence by an officer is a violation of the law and human rights. Right to Due Process: If a rider fails to stop, the legal recourse for the police is to note the vehicle's registration number, track the owner, and issue a challan or summon the individual to court.

Harayana Police ! Allegedly this policeman beat the car driver because the driver made a video of the policeman taking bribe. The policeman got enraged by this and kept trying to snatch the mobile phone from the car driver in which the video of him taking bribe might have been recorded. However, the victim has also filed a police complaint regarding this incident. The video is said to be from the border of Haryana and Rajasthan. According to the victim, this video is from this afternoon only. This claim has also been made by an acquaintance of the victim himself. 24/6/26 Taking cognizance of this video, an impartial investigation should be conducted and action should also be taken. Hyderabad Police ! OP : My friend's car broke down near IKEA. I stopped my bike on the side to help him out - no No Parking sign in sight, and we weren't the only vehicles there. Instead of giving us a few minutes to sort it out, this officer started threatening us with a challan for a broken-down car. When I politely asked for time, he kept shouting to push it and go home When I tried to record the situation, he physically pushed me - multiple times. Then he walked over and tried to slap a challan on my bike too. I stood my ground and cited the traffic rules. People around us gathered and supported us. That's when he quietly walked away. No No Parking board. No valid reason. Just power being misused. Stay aware if you're around Hitech City. Know your rights. Record everything. Don't back down !

Talegaon Dabhade, Pune Police ! A college-aged man was stopped by a policeman on a three-seater bike in Talegaon Dabhade, Pune, as he was riding a triple-seater bike. Stopped and asked him to pay a fine for driving a triple seater. "However, the law student told the police that he would pay the fine only if they gave him a receipt. Goa Police! OP tilve Gajanan : This is a painful reminder of what happens when those entrusted with protecting the people forget their duty. A group of students from a college in Bardez reached Anjuna Police Station at around 2:00 PM to file a complaint. They weren't asking for favours. They weren't creating trouble. They were simply exercising their legal right to seek justice. Instead of being heard, they were made to wait for hours. No officer entertained their complaint. To make matters worse, they were threatened with arrest for no valid reason. At around 6:00 PM, these students called me. I could hear the fear and helplessness in their voices. I immediately reached the police station to stand beside them. When I asked the officer a simple question "Why has there been such a delay in taking their complaint?" his response was, "Who are you to question me?" That sentence says everything that is wrong with the mindset of a few who believe power is above accountability. A police station is not anyone's private property. It belongs to the people. Every officer wears the uniform to serve the public, not to intimidate them. The saddest part is that because of the actions of a few such officers, the image of the entire police force gets tarnished. There are countless honest, dedicated and compassionate police officers who work day and night to protect society. They too suffer when arrogance and abuse of authority by a handful of individuals destroy the public's trust. Perhaps some are emboldened by recent statements insulting the youth of Goa by calling them "termites." But let me say this loudly and clearly: The youth of Goa are not termites. They are the strength, the conscience and the future of this State. If standing with students against injustice makes me a target, so be it. You may threaten me with arrest. You may misuse your authority. You may try to silence our voices. But understand one thing... I WILL NEVER STOP STANDING WITH THE PEOPLE. I AM NOT AFRAID. Because fear protects injustice. Courage protects people and as long as I have a voice, I will continue to speak for every student, every youth, and every citizen who is denied dignity, respect and justice.

Another friction between Delhi Police and Advocates Advocate Yashasvi Sharma: This action is a slap on the face of those policemen who consider the police station as their and their father's property and drive away anyone from the police station after insulting them by abusing their mother and sister. Without thinking that this police station, uniform and the salary of the policeman are coming from the tax collected by the government on the hard earned money of the same common man. It is important to make them realise that when someone is insulted and driven away from anywhere, no matter who he is, what goes through his heart and how insulted he feels.
