Goa Police! OP tilve Gajanan : This is a painful reminder of what happens when those entrusted with protecting the people forget their duty. A group of students from a college in Bardez reached Anjuna Police Station at around 2:00 PM to file a complaint. They weren't asking for favours. They weren't creating trouble. They were simply exercising their legal right to seek justice. Instead of being heard, they were made to wait for hours. No officer entertained their complaint. To make matters worse, they were threatened with arrest for no valid reason. At around 6:00 PM, these students called me. I could hear the fear and helplessness in their voices. I immediately reached the police station to stand beside them. When I asked the officer a simple question "Why has there been such a delay in taking their complaint?" his response was, "Who are you to question me?" That sentence says everything that is wrong with the mindset of a few who believe power is above accountability. A police station is not anyone's private property. It belongs to the people. Every officer wears the uniform to serve the public, not to intimidate them. The saddest part is that because of the actions of a few such officers, the image of the entire police force gets tarnished. There are countless honest, dedicated and compassionate police officers who work day and night to protect society. They too suffer when arrogance and abuse of authority by a handful of individuals destroy the public's trust. Perhaps some are emboldened by recent statements insulting the youth of Goa by calling them "termites." But let me say this loudly and clearly: The youth of Goa are not termites. They are the strength, the conscience and the future of this State. If standing with students against injustice makes me a target, so be it. You may threaten me with arrest. You may misuse your authority. You may try to silence our voices. But understand one thing... I WILL NEVER STOP STANDING WITH THE PEOPLE. I AM NOT AFRAID. Because fear protects injustice. Courage protects people and as long as I have a voice, I will continue to speak for every student, every youth, and every citizen who is denied dignity, respect and justice.

Latur, Maharashtra Police ! Are we waiting for people to die at the hands of such Police Officers ? When are we going to say enough is enough ? The role of the traffic police is to regulate traffic, enforce road safety, and issue penalties (challans) for violations. They do not have the authority to inflict physical punishment on citizens. Any act of physical violence by an officer is a violation of the law and human rights. Right to Due Process: If a rider fails to stop, the legal recourse for the police is to note the vehicle's registration number, track the owner, and issue a challan or summon the individual to court.

Harayana Police ! Allegedly this policeman beat the car driver because the driver made a video of the policeman taking bribe. The policeman got enraged by this and kept trying to snatch the mobile phone from the car driver in which the video of him taking bribe might have been recorded. However, the victim has also filed a police complaint regarding this incident. The video is said to be from the border of Haryana and Rajasthan. Delhi Police! OP: "This Officer should be Suspend" "This happened just now. I was going from my home towards Kalkaji with my brother on a scooter. We were just riding normally when some police officers stopped us. They were not traffic police; they were regular police officers. We were simply riding on the scooter without helmet and just left from our home and had not done anything wrong. They stopped us without giving any reason." This is completely unacceptable. The police treated us very badly and behaved in a rude and disrespectful manner. I have a video of the incident. While our scooter was moving, one of the officers suddenly took the key out of the ignition. This caused us to lose balance. We could have fallen, been seriously injured, and even caused an accident because there was traffic behind us. They did not introduce themselves or properly ask for any documents. Instead, they acted arrogantly, misused their authority, and behaved disrespectfully. They then took our scooter and left us stranded in the middle of the road. We even asked them to do a penalty or challan against our vehicle for helmet violation but they ask for bribe. We had important work to attend, but because of their actions, we were left helpless. Zirakpur, Punjab Police ! Incident took place last night at VIP Road in Zirakpur, where an argument broke out between the police and a bike rider over the motorcycle's keys. Under the Motor Vehicles Act, no police officer can forcibly remove your vehicle's keys; they can impound the vehicle or issue a ticket, but here, the officer is clearly seen taking the keys. Many told me that these two officers unnecessarily harass and obstruct students at colleges like BSM, PICT, and MIT for no reason. They go as far as reaching into the students' pockets and following them to the parking lots.
