This is much worse than a normal monsoon season. Vietnam - At least 91 people have died. - Whole villages have disappeared under water in seconds. - One province (Dak Lak) lost 63 lives. - Roads are destroyed, so helicopters are now the only way to bring food, medicine, and rescue people. Thailand - The city of Hat Yai had the heaviest rain in 300 years in just one day. - More than 2 million people are affected. - Tourists are stuck on the top floors of hotels. - Boats are now the only way to move around many streets. Malaysia - Over 12,500 people have been forced to leave their homes, and the number is rising. This is not just bad weather anymore. Scientists say climate change is making storms stronger and more frequent. What used to be a “once-in-100-years” flood is now happening every few months. The damage in Vietnam alone is already around $500 million, added to more than $1 billion from earlier floods this year. Coffee farms, houses, and roads are gone.
