Enough is ENOUGH! A 16-year-old boy in Over-the-Rhine is dead, and a 14-year-old girl was shot due to failed policies and negligence. To Mayor Aftab Pureval and the current City Council 👇 You paint “Black Lives Matter” in front of City Hall. You pose for photo ops in front of Black-owned businesses. You erect plaques honoring Black leaders with cameras rolling. Yet, you do nothing to protect or uplift the Black community or those who are hurting and disenfranchised. Over the past four years, our streets have become more dangerous for children, families have fewer opportunities for jobs and careers, businesses, restaurants, and markets are closing, infrastructure is crumbling with potholes everywhere, and your so-called “affordable housing” projects have become prisons, trapping residents and families in poverty for the foreseeable future. Meanwhile: ➡️ Your friends, contractors, and connected nonprofits/NGOs grow richer. ➡️ You have failed to accept adequate help from the state. ➡️ Your police officers’ hands are tied, leaving them overwhelmed. ➡️ Your firefighters lack financial support to treat the cancer they develop while serving our city. ➡️ And the residents of YOUR city are begging for help. I’m not red or blue in this race. I’m a Cincinnatian, tired of watching the city I love suffer. I’m a pastor, tired of gunshots ringing past our church and the homes of our congregation members every week. I’m a business owner, exhausted from reassuring customers about whether it’s safe to come downtown. At the start of this race, my goal was to make a statement and a stand. Now, it’s to win so our city isn’t left in the gutter. And we DO have a plan and policies to stop this decline and elevate Cincinnati to the heights we know it can reach.

More violence from Friday night in downtown Cincinnati 🚨 It’s important to state that during large events such as last night’s music festival (the city’s 2nd largest crowded event of the year) the Emergency Communications Center has a delegated dispatcher that is solely on duty for the purpose of the event. Sources within the ECC have stated that Friday night, no such dispatcher was on duty. This reinforces what we’ve known, that major problems exist in the ECC relating to crime in the city. Cincinnati deserves better… Bowman for Cincinnati | #FlipTheNati

Cincinnati 🚨 A person was shot and killed near the stadium, barely three hours after Thursday night’s Bengals game ended. That’s six shootings and two stabbings within 24 hours in Cincinnati. The state of Ohio, through the Governor’s office and the Ohio State Patrol, has offered assistance since the beginning of summer to support local law enforcement, ensure adequate staffing levels are met, and keep the streets safe. To date, the city has accepted only two days of help in October (last night not among them) and four scheduled days in November. The city must immediately accept all assistance offered by the state. This isn’t just a police chief issue—it’s failed leadership from the top down in our city.

Shots Fired - OTR Cincinnati 08/09/25 - 8:52pm What you can’t see in the video are many mothers carrying their young children running through a park scared for their life as the shots are fired across their front doorstep. But people gaslight and mock “Another beautiful day in Cincinnati.” This isn’t about trashing our city on national news. This is about holding accountable those in LEADERSHIP who are ruining our city.

Shots Fired 🚨 in Downtown Cincinnati On Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 3:05 AM, multiple shots were fired on Race Street, less than two blocks from Paycor Stadium and The Banks. This isn’t just a perception in Downtown, it’s a reality. New leadership, practical strategies to combat crime, and increased accountability for judges and prosecutors are needed to ensure Cincinnati’s safety.

Our current Cincinnati Mayor speaking at a protest the Saturday of Easter weekend. A gathering that had no permit and cost the city taxpayer $15k in unplanned pay to CPD officers on their scheduled day off or re-positioning officers from their normal assigned districts. If you are tired of what our current city government leaders prioritize, vote Cory Bowman on May 6th.

The Cincinnati Police Union voted NO CONFIDENCE in Aftab Pureval and ENDORSED Cory Bowman for Mayor of Cincinnati. What we’ve seen over the summer and fall months—with the rise of violent crime in our downtown area—shows incompetence and unqualified individuals in positions of leadership. Our city needs proactive policing, patrols focused on de-escalation, a communication center that dispatches accordingly and effectively, immediate efforts to hire officers to meet designated strength numbers, pressure on the courts and judges to hold criminals accountable, and overall strength and confidence from the top down. Our city deserves to be safe. Cincinnati deserves better. Vote Cory Bowman for Mayor November 4th. (Early Voting Open NOW)
