Viktor Gyökeres is so far out of his depth at Arsenal. I tried to warn you but nobody would listen. They brought up his 54 goals in 52 games last season or his hattrick vs Man City. But it was clear he doesn’t have the required skillset to impact games. Unable to impose himself physically on opponents, unable to reliably create separation for his shots & his overall technical floor is so low his link-play leaves so much to be desired.

People need to go back and properly look at Darwin Núñez body of work in that 2023/24 season for Liverpool. 18 goals and 13 assists in 54 games but brings so much more value than the output. Devastating transitional threat, line-stretcher, tenacious OOP and pure chaos. You cannot tell me you would rather have Cody Gakpo off the bench rather than Nunez.
