I’m growing potatoes in a laundry basket! I layered soil, seed potatoes, and straw all the way to the top, creating a breathable, well-draining space for them to thrive. The basket lets air flow and prevents rot, and the straw helps retain moisture while keeping the tuber

Painting a bee outside, I’m surrounded by my sweet animals—gentle mini donkeys, curious chickens and turkeys, and tiny Fox, my newest baby chick. Her best friend never hatched, so she’s a bit lonely, but she’s brave. While I paint, she peeps softly nearby, wrapped in the comfort

Bath time for little Olivia, my house chicken. This summer Olivia hurt her hip outside with the flock and needs some recovery time to heal, so she’s inside until she’s feeling better. @cozy_cabin_crew

The night before, I mix flour, water, salt, and a lively sourdough starter, folding and stretching the dough until it’s supple. As it rests, time and fermentation work their magic. Before bed, I shape it, tucking it into a banneton for a slow, cool rise

Today I found this odd little bookshelf and decided to make it into a plant stand, so I drilled some holes in the back and added lights so I could fit my plants into it. Would you try a project like this?

Cooking has always been a calming and relaxing activity for me, a time when I can fully focus on the task at hand and lose myself in the process. Yesterday, I made a mixed berry pie for a friend’s birthday, and it was the perfect way to unwind. The rhythmi

I can only be in sunshine for about 10 min a day because of the medication I’m on for Lyme disease, so I took all of my 10 min to have a picnic with Clementine on the grass. Clementine is so happy to hang out with me anywhere, and I’ve noticed that she has become much more
