Had a wild ass iRacing moment today. Often times in the IndyCar, if you so much as ding or dent a wheel or axle, they'll declare your race over due to damage. Well I barrel rolled five times, but all the hits were square. 20 seconds of repairs, and I finished on the lead lap. 🤯

Well that's an embarrassing first. Was listening to baseball on the radio and not to the PC audio, and turns out that I had my foot mashing the throttle before the race and didn't realize it. Totally missed that I'd blown my engine on pit road until I tried to roll.

iRacing's got this thing about not throwing yellows anymore. Someone comes down the track, I wreck like hell into them, and assume at some point that the yellow is out. It's not. Realize at the last second once righted the leaders are coming full speed. Whole lobby protesting me.
