Remember when Travis Kelce threw his helmet during the Las Vegas Raiders game? Then the trainer attempted to give Kelce his helmet back and Andy Reid intercepted it? Andy Reid gave Kelce a little body shove afterwards… but Kelce absorbed it a bit better than Big Red. 😂 Perhaps it’s just a part of their relationship?

Quick trigger, he’s about my height, so Tim [Fanning] wanted me to take the challenge. It’s a tough guard. I’m not used to running around a lot of screens. Here’s a back angle of the same play. This is a clean play IMO. I see some mild contact here, but no tackle “from behind” is performed which has been alluded to by some. Jakob is not a dirty player and has never proven to be. Kuithe plants with his left leg at the top of the route and you see a slight buckling inward of the left knee (valgus force which is typical in ACL tears.) This is normal contact with a TE/DB at the top of a route. Jakob disengages with his body after the initial contact. It appears to be a left knee injury. Possibly an ACL tear with some collateral damage based off the mechanism. Kuithe begins to hobble after the plant and eventually falls to the turf. Kuithe, in 2022 suffered an ACL injury and meniscus tear to his right knee. Data shows that once you’ve had an ACL Injury, there is a higher risk of injuring your opposite knee than your reconstructed knee. Furthermore, there is increasing data supporting the elevated risk of ACL injuries correlated to turf as well as style and type of cleats. My heart goes out to Kuithe.

Kevin Young on AJ’s defense on Milan Momcilovic: “It was unbelievable. AJ can do whatever he wants on the basketball court. Whatever he puts his mind to he can do. That’s their leading scorer and he held them to 1-of-5. AJ played 40 minutes. Didn’t come out, had 29 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 turnovers against a team that’s turnover everybody more than anyone in the country and held their best player to 1-of-5.”

AJ took 10 free throws, Rob Wright took four, and I don't ever go there -- and again, Houston beat us. Stone cold. They won the game. AJ should have shot 20 free throws, minimum in that game. Rob Wright only shoots four free throws. Guy drives every time. And Sharp shoots 10 -- and I'm not saying the officials were, like, oh, we're going to give Houston calls and not BYU. I'm not suggesting that in any form or fashion. I thought they flat-out missed calls, bottom line. And that led to some turnovers, led to some frustration. And so that's disappointing. And, again, I think to your actual question of the turnovers, yeah, we just drove into a crowd too much.”
