I couldn't be more proud of what this small team has achieved. My animations wouldn't be the same at all without their work! (｡◕‿◕｡)

When I made this animation as a style test, I started flirting with stepped animation. There’s something about the texture it adds to the motion that I can’t get enough of.

Looking back at this personal animation I made last year. It was a small project, but it reminded me how much I enjoy exploring motion and rhythm just for fun. Rendered beautifully by Laura Sirvent.

It's been a while since I've had time to do any personal projects, but a few weeks ago I spent a few days brushing up on my animation skills. The render is of course thanks to the magic of Laura Sirvent

Cowboy Bebop was one of the first anime I watched, and years later while studying animation I realized Yutaka Nakamura had already quietly rewired my brain to value clear mass and rhythmic timing over noisy detail.

Starting 2026 still thinking about Look Back, a film I watched in 2025. That running scene hasn’t left my head. It’s not about realism, it’s emotion overflowing the body. I’ve never seen that feeling represented so clearly in animation.

People sometimes ask me how I animate cameras. I wish I could say there’s a master plan but honestly I just improvise as I go. Tweaking the FOV helps shape what the viewer sees, whether it’s more of the world or a close up. And from outside the camera the scene is usually a mess (*ﾉ▽ﾉ)

Today is my last day at UNSEEN after almost five incredible years. I’m grateful that my first experience as an Animation Director was here, working alongside such a talented team. Working from Barcelona and spending time in Tokyo gave me memories and adventures I’ll never forget. I’ll leave as a better animator, leader, and person. Now it’s time for a new adventure. ❤️

I watched Fumiko no Kokuhaku years ago and had totally forgotten about it. The way it conveys speed and vertigo through camera movement is amazing.

Throwback to a tiny piece I animated for Ori. Nothing fancy, but I still love how smoothly everything came together across design, tech and animation. The patterns were simple, yet they fit perfectly for a first miniboss.

✧ (｡◕‿◕｡) As every year...new birthday, new reel! I recommend artists to do this as a self-gift. This one feels special since I've included a milestone in my career: the Kemuri trailer ▧

Talking about stepped animation... Laura Sirvent and I teamed up for something a bit more cinematic and delicate this time. ✨ Overpriced Latte ✨

I keep coming back to David Dockery’s videos. They resonate with how I see the world, where every small gesture and conversation carries its own rhythm.

Some time ago I recorded a quick 15 minute Rigify session in Blender to show how approachable and easy the process can be. I would love to share my full animation workflow someday. Until that day comes... here is the rigging process!
