🇺🇸 $XRP just got mentioned in a conversation with the Vice President JD Vance of the United States about America’s debt, the national crypto reserve, and the future of digital assets. Newsmax host, Carl Higbie Carl Higbie specifically brought up Bitcoin and XRP while asking JD Vance whether crypto could eventually play a role in strengthening the U.S. financial position. Vance did not specifically say XRP will pay off the national debt, but the fact that XRP is even being discussed at this level is a massive shift from where the industry was just a few years ago. Then Vance went even further on the CLARITY Act, calling it a very important piece of legislation and saying the administration is working every day to get clearer crypto rules passed. For XRP holders, this is the bigger picture: XRP is being discussed alongside U.S. reserves. Ripple has a seat at the table in Washington. Crypto regulation is moving forward. The $XRP Ledger almost just went offline… #XRPL Nodes Face Critical Upgrade Deadline Tuesday #XRP Ledger validators must upgrade by May 27 or risk going offline. David Schwartz confirmed the rippled 3.1.3 amendment will activate Tuesday, and nodes that fail to update will become amendment-blocked meaning they’ll lose the ability to validate the ledger, process transactions, or vote on future network changes. Schwartz also noted that the XRPL experiences more technically hard-fork-style events than most public blockchains.
