claude mythos just broke Apple's $2 billion defense system. it did so by discovering a completely different attack vector to break in only took it 5 days costing ~$35K of mythos api time (the same exploit class costs $5-10M on grey market) the researchers that commandeered the exploit produced a 55-page report that was delivered to Apple HQ in-person (hoping they release it after patching). most shocking part for me is apple's MIE worked as intended. mythos just discovered a new way to side-step it entirely by poisoning the data the M5 chip ingested. at this point i think we have to accept that mythos walks the walk. As the anthropic red-team explicitly confirmed this week - this is NOT a compute resource issue. its national defense.

Anthropic fucking killed it (again). biggest ai product launch of the year so far. claude can now control your entire computer autonomously. anything you can do on a computer - claude can. your very own digital employee. - any app, browser, file, spreadsheet, tool claude can intelligently access and operate. - claude controls your entire screen (like a human), no connectors. this is a huge step-up in intelligence. - best part: you can text claude to do things from your phone and it'll do work on your computer! - in the last week anthropic has shipped 9 features that have built up to this: a fully automated digital human. unreal

i mean this story is insane. man used chatgpt to sell his house in 5 DAYS. got 5 offers in 72 hours. no real estate agents. saved so much money doing it too. he used AI to: > price the house (researched neighboring properties for sale) > wrote up the legal contracts (saving him $500/hr lawyers) > best part: MARKETED the fucking property for him (usually you pay estate agents for their network of buyers - ChatGPT did all of this) i honestly thought sales people would be hard for AI to replace (you need to know people) but apparently not

this is huge news from Cursor, they've pulled of the impossible and turned their ai-wrapper into a in-destructible moat sam altman literally called it cursor's ai agent harness is available for anyone to build on, which means ai models are now a commodity > 1-time install and now anyone can run cursor's agent locally or via cloud. use any model (e.g. gpt 5.5) but with the added cursor harness that makes it 10X better. > its so good that 3 of cursors biggest competitors are embedding it into their products. > now cursor DOESN'T DEPEND on anthropic or openai. their own model (composer 2) competes directly! yesterday sam altman said the ai model and harness are one and the same and today cursor turned their harness into a self-owned moat fucking masterclass (coming from a former cursor / ai wrapper hater)

well thats fucking it - anthropic has officially replaced software engineers. claude is now a 24 hr autonomous coding agent. claude can now operate your entire computer and CLAUDE CODE = end-to-end software engineering: - claude writes the code for you - then literally opens the app it coded - clicks through the entire app and find bugs - then fixes the bugs and improves the app in hours. previously claude generated code, you run it and give claude feedback. thats completely gone now. all in a continuous loop without leaving your terminal 😂 we're barely through monday. well done lol

i will die on this hill: Apple is a frontier AI company. they will inject AI into every place you scroll, type, read and listen imagine if you could “google” a past memory or ask siri to prove you’re right in a group chat ai models that run on-device with access to your entire life. the craziest part is the models don’t even need to be big! a 20B frontier model can run smoothly on apple’s chip architecture completely privately there are 3.5 billion apple devices, the gravitational pull this company has on societal culture is unmatched

man anthropic is absolutely cooking microsoft. claude now works natively in word, powerpoint and excel. thats 450M users but how the fuck did anthropic beat microsoft co-pilot? it gets worse - microsoft blew $13B creating co-pilot and owns 27% of openai yet no sign on chatgpt. - claude has access to SHARED context across excel, word and powerpoint. they know the footprint of microsoft's users - very valuable AI data. - only 15M microsoft users pay for copilot, so its clear they need to go model-agnostic - this is the 3rd major microsoft product to leverage claude (cowork and deep research are the other 2) very impressive execution from anthropic tbh, they are trying to be everywhere and anywhere - its working

this is insane lol japan is running out of monks... so they're training AI robots called "buddharoid" to replace them 😂 (im not joking): - japan's temples are closing because fewer priests are available to run them + aging population - the solution: chatgpt robots trained on 1000+ years of buddhist scripture that answer your spiritual questions - the robot even sits in religious prayer positions like an actual monk does. you can literally have a conversation on life's deepest dilemmas with a robot as smart as the dalai llama i cannot believe they're scaling these robots to run actual temples.

wait so perplexity launched an investment and wealth manager for $20 per month? - perplexity can now plug into your investment account, analyze positions, performance and give advice. - access to 40+ finance tools, everything from SEC filings to prediction markets can be used to inform trades - can also build excel models, charts etc to determine trades. typical wealth management apps charge $4000 annually, you now get all this for $20 powered by the best ai models seems like a no brainer, going to try this out

tesla is merging with spaceX. this announcement did all but confirm it. a multi-trillion dollar space/ai/robotics GIANT, a moon settlement and at the heart of it - the Terafab - here's why this is nuts: - tesla plans to ship 1-10 BILLION robots PER year. problem: global chip capacity is shit, doesn't scale. - Tesla's 'Terafab' will produce 1 TERAwatt of compute. 80% of that will go to outer-space to train AI (grok) via spaceX - terafab will make 2 AI chips: 1 for humanoid robots/cars and 1 for AI datacenters in space. - by housing everything under 1 roof - chip production speeds up by an order of magnitude. unbeatable. - moon settlement: the sun doesn't set in space. solar power is 5X larger in low-orbit space. much more on the moon (24/7 too!) - so elon will build a moon settlement! there is ZERO chance tesla survives without spaceX transporting these ai chips. elon estimates training AI in space will be CHEAPER THAN ON EARTH in 2-3 years. insane. (heres the full announcement if you wanna watch)

yesterday Naval launched a platform allowing anyone to invest in anthropic, openai and spacex for as little as $500 i was fucking ecstatic until i wasn’t. major issue: USVC has hidden fees. or so i thought. today their GP Ankur Nagpal convinced me i was not only just wrong, but that USVC is actually the best way for retail to access private deals i went in ready to fight and came out convinced otherwise. i appreciate Ankur offering to come on and chat instead of dunking on me as a result i went ahead and invested in them today what are your thoughts on this? 👇

this is a fucking wild story an AI put a grandmother in prison for 6 months after incorrectly labelling her a criminal. police arrested her at gunpoint... but the tech fucked up: - police used ai facial recognition that tied her to a bank fraud case, arrested her at gunpoint, imprisoned her - AI had incorrectly tied a fake military ID to her face on a surveillance camera. - police wouldn't release her until a lawyer pointed out she was 1200 miles away from the place the crime was committed this isnt even the 1st case of this happening, a high-school kid eating DORITOS was recently labelled as "carrying a firearm" by an AI - police arrested him if we're going to start using ai for law enforcement can we at least use humans to double-check the thing??? this shit isn't smart enough and shouldn't be used for surveillance like this.
