🚨 A female skier slipped under the chairlift safety bar shortly after boarding the Big Bear Express. She dangled high above the ground as the chair continued its 1,309-foot vertical ascent. “Out on the farm today, a heron swam right up to the boat as if seeking assistance. On closer inspection, we saw a giant ribbed mussel attached to its foot. Tyler carefully removed it, and we placed the bird on a small oyster cage to recover. After about 45 minutes - and a fresh seafood spread of fish, crabs, and oysters, plus clean water - it regained its strength and took off into the trees.
