Last week, I marked my birthday in a simple way—but it left me with a powerful reminder. I may not have abundance, but I have enough to make a difference in someone’s life. Giving isn’t about how much we have; it’s about the heart behind what we share. Sometimes it’s a meal, a kind word, a small gift, or even just showing up for someone who feels forgotten. Those “little” things can mean everything to someone in need. This past week opened my eyes again: generosity is not reserved for the wealthy. It belongs to anyone willing to care. As I step into this new year of my life, I’m choosing to be more intentional—giving what I can, when I can, and trusting that even the smallest act of kindness carries great value.
