It may have gone unnoticed, but Jackson Chourio sprinted all the way home on this play when there was never going to be a play at the plate. Had he jogged it around third, the eventual deciding run might not have counted.

Didn’t see Brice Turang do any running in pregame but he was out on the field walking a bit gingerly. Watch this high quality video of a man walking and decide for yourself.

The Giants were one out away from a spring training perfect game. Then Cooper Pratt drew a walk and Blake Burke — against his former coach Tony Vitello! — breaks up the no-no. What an afternoon!

The pitch location of two of Garrett Mitchell’s homers in the Mets series was almost identical. Both sliders. Both thrown by pitchers who had two of the best sliders last year. Both pretty well-located. Both with two strikes.

An undrafted FA last year, KC Hunt has become maybe the minor league pitcher of the year in the Brewers system. 7 shutout tonight in an elimination game for Biloxi, where in 7 starts he’s now struck out 43 to 9 walks with a sub-2.00 ERA.
