A tradition in Damascus is that people don't ask, "How much is the Quran's price", when buying a Mushaf, out of respect, but rather say, "How much is the donation I should give you for the Quran", as they are paying for the printing services not the words themselves

Dr. Francesca speaks of something very important and funny in this clip The Arabists and Bathists in Syria, groomed by the French who superimposed nationalism onto us, rewrote history to add "Arab" into everything The Nuri Bimaristan, built by Nur al-Din Zinki in Damascus, became "The Museum of Arabic Medicine and Science", When Nur al-Din Zinki was a Turk, many physicians who passed through it weren't Arab, like Ibn Sina (Persian), and the cumulative knowledge of medicine that reached its pinnacle in the Bimaristan was a product of many non-Arab Muslims: Abu Bakr al-Razi, Ali b. Abbas al-Majusi, Abu Zayd al-Balkhi, etc... Take a look at this poster in the pharmaceutical section of the museum, where they speak about how Arabs were the pioneers of pharmacy, then they name two (Christian) non-Arab pharmacists: Ibn Masuyah (an Assyrian) and Sabur Ibn Sahl (a Persian) 🤦♂️
