I lowered a puzzle box 81 feet to the ocean floor to see which fish could figure out how to get the bait inside. I was hoping the box would survive the experiment. A spotted moray eel, sharks, and a pair of massive Goliath groupers all stopped by to investigate. Watch until the end to see which fish finally broke into the puzzle box.

While visiting the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, I lowered my underwater camera beneath the bridge connecting Nassau and Paradise Island to see what was hiding below the surface, and it didn't disappoint. The bridge pilings were covered with life, from colorful parrotfish, queen angelfish, blue tangs, butterflyfish, grunts, and squirrelfish to plenty of other fascinating reef species. In this narrated video, I identify many of the fish I encountered and share some interesting facts about their behavior and the important role they play in the reef ecosystem. Come explore the underwater world beneath one of the Bahamas' busiest bridges and discover the amazing marine life that most visitors never know is there. Which fish did you find the most interesting? 🐟 #Bahamas #MarineLife #Underwater #Ocean #Wildlife

I filmed this from my drone this morning in Florida, and within minutes a couple of snorkelers found themselves approaching a large school of sharks. If you think you know how the encounter ended, you may be surprised. The footage also includes a manatee, a spotted eagle ray, a huge school of tarpon, and several other amazing marine animals. Let me know which encounter was your favorite.

This morning, I took advantage of the calm conditions and flew my drone over the Jupiter Inlet. The ocean was glass calm, the water was crystal clear, and visibility from the air was incredible. While flying, I spotted a manta ray gracefully gliding just outside the inlet. A few moments later, I found a spotted eagle ray cruising through the same area, making for another amazing morning on the water. After the flight, I shared the manta ray footage with a scientist friend who studies manta rays. She recognized this individual from previous sightings and shared several fascinating details about its history and identification that I include in this video. I hope you enjoy this incredible glimpse of two of Florida's most majestic rays!

Critically Endangered Sighting: Smalltooth Sawfish on Baited Camera Drop! I deployed my camera rig loaded with bait to the seafloor in 53 feet of water just a few miles from Florida's Jupiter Inlet. The biodiversity was incredible, but the star of the show was the appearance of a Smalltooth Sawfish (Pristis pectinata). This species is federally protected and critically endangered. Watching it approach and use its rostrum (saw) to investigate the bait was a remarkable privilege. The footage also captured a lot of action, including a small, energetic shark and various other identified species feeding. A truly exciting look at the marine ecosystem off SE Florida!

One of the busiest feeding stations in the ocean... A few fish scraps are all it takes to attract an incredible variety of marine life. Watch as predators, baitfish, and a few surprise visitors converge in the frenzy. Thanks to the crews of Black Dog, Mystic Rose, and Red Beard for allowing me to film the action. Filmed in Jupiter, Florida.
