Chill-o with our armadillo Our armadillo pup Jaco is growing fast! He now weighs 550 grams (that’s just over 1.2 pounds). You can now see this little guy in action over at our Lacerte Family Children’s Zoo!

Meet our newest long-legged little giraffe! Born September 24 to mom Katie and dad Tebogo, this little guy came into the world at 156 lbs. and already standing 5’8” tall. He was quick to his feet, standing within the hour and nursing shortly after.

Our tiger cubs officially have names! 🐯 The votes are in and our female cub's name is Rina. Her name honors Rina PA, a ranger with the Sumatran Ranger Project. Her brother, Serasi, was named by our animal care team in tribute to a ranger from the same organization.

Itchin’ to be chillin’ This little armadillo loves his time in the dirt – squeezing through “tunnels” and getting a good back scratch while he’s at it.
