Our baby elephant has a name AND he’s officially out on habitat! 🐘💚 Meet Matope (pronounced maw-toe-pay)! His name comes from the Swahili word for “mud” or “muddy waters,” and it couldn’t be more fitting for this mud-loving baby elephant.

Our tiger cubs officially have names! 🐯 The votes are in and our female cub's name is Rina. Her name honors Rina PA, a ranger with the Sumatran Ranger Project. Her brother, Serasi, was named by our animal care team in tribute to a ranger from the same organization.
