I still see AI video framed in simple terms: prompt in, clip out. What caught my attention about PixVerse Live Party, an early experiment that explores a more interactive direction. It features Reina, an AI fan host, in a football themed experience where users can join in around cheering and share AI generated moments. This is the experiment I was looking at: I would not describe it as a finished livestreaming product. To me, it is an early look at how AI video could move beyond standalone clips and become part of a more social, character driven experience.

Maybe the future of AI editing isn’t about giving AI the entire timeline. Maybe it’s about giving AI the parts of the timeline that are hardest to build from scratch. That’s how I see GPT-6 Astra + CapCut PC. Astra can generate a custom .cube LUT based on a specific creative direction, then I bring it into CapCut PC and make the final color decision against the footage. It can also generate customized animated subtitle effects as an .srt, which I can place on the timeline and refine across tracks. Then CapCut PC’s editing workflow takes over for everything that needs context, timing and judgment. AI generates the ingredients.
