So, this is the incident from Hounslow West tube station on Sunday (29th June) morning at 11:52. A bit of context. Morgan WSI and myself were the only white people on the platform. We were surrounded by different nationalities, many of whom were men who did not appear to speak English. I noticed an Indian man, with his phone in his hand stood behind Morgan, taking a few glimpses. He then walked around the front as Morgan and myself started speaking - as I looked over to see what he was doing, his phone was pointing directly at Morgan. He realised I noticed what he was doing, he then proceeded to slowly turn his phone away and point it down the track. I carried on staring at him, watching every movement and he decided to move away, to be closer with more Indian people stood near the stairs (Where the video was taken). As he walked past, he smiled and said sorry (I believe), that is when I saw the camera open on his phone, speaking to someone from India on facetime (as he stated - evidence in the video) pointing towards the floor. This is when I approached him. Now, I know I could and, in hindsight, should have said and done so much more however, we were quite literally the only white people on this platform in an area we have never been to. I had to think not only for my safety, but for Morgan's too. Hence the avoidance of raising my voice too much. The BTP have explicitly said that this is sexual harassment, so let's see what happens from here. This is something that multiple women will have to deal with - film it, share it and report it. Publicly shame these cowardly individuals. We need to be pushing for police to be on these platforms. These are areas that are not policed, which is why these predators feel they can get away with doing this. I want action, I want these men arrested, I want these men out of public spaces facing harsh sentences.
