Man say what you will, but Will Smith absolutely nailed his role as Ali. The way he captured Muhammad Ali’s mannerisms, the cadence, the swagger in his speech, it was flawless. Honestly, he should’ve gotten five Oscars for that performance. Nobody, and I mean nobody, could’ve played that part better. Bravo Mr. Smith, bravo.

I miss when comedies were this smart and hilariously written. This scene is funny on so many different levels. It was nominated for several awards, including Favorite Comedic Movie at the People's Choice Awards and Best Virtual Performance for Seth MacFarlane, but it did not win any.

The fact that & Angela Bassett didn't receive an Oscar for this role is ridiculous. The actresses competing for an Oscar when Angela was nominated for this role did not give a better performance than she did in their movie roles. It's about skill and nothing else. She outdid herself.

He legitimately scared me in so many scenes because plays the part so well. Sometimes you almost feel a sense that you like him because he's so personable and then he becomes so cruel and al monster with the flip of a switch and I found myself almost wanting to hide from the tv screen.
