Brandon Johnson, you can keep trying to win an Oscar or audition for a Tyler Perry movie, but whichever direction you decide to go, one thing is clear: your time in office is coming to an end. I will continue reminding the citizens of Chicago who you are, what this administration has done, and what the Democratic candidates running for mayor stand for , especially those who currently hold office and have had the power to make changes but failed. The people are paying attention. We see what’s happening, and we understand what’s at stake. Chicago deserves leadership that puts citizens first, protects our neighborhoods, supports our police, lowers the burden on taxpayers, and brings accountability back to City Hall. As Mayor, I will End sanctuary city policies and ensure Chicago cooperates with federal law enforcement. Conduct forensic audits across city departments, including CPS and migrant spending, and make the results public. Freeze property taxes until taxpayers have answers about rising costs. Restore law and order by supporting CPD, addressing staffing shortages, and keeping repeat violent offenders off our streets. Today I was in court because the Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) sought a restraining order against me. My "threat" was peacefully protesting and demanding answers. I asked a simple question: Where is the forensic audit? Chicago taxpayers continue to pay more in property taxes, and CPS continues to receive significant funding, yet far too many of our children are still not proficient in reading, math, and writing. Parents and taxpayers deserve transparency, accountability, and honest answers about why our educational system continues to fail so many students. I will never stop speaking up for taxpayers, parents, and the citizens of Chicago. If they can silence one citizen for asking questions, they can silence all of us. I refuse to let that happen. As Mayor, I will implement a comprehensive education platform focused on transparency, accountability, and results. My administration will conduct independent forensic audits of CPS finances, ensure every dollar is spent effectively in the classroom, and hold leadership accountable for student outcomes. We will implement school choice. I will prioritize early literacy, expand access to high-quality tutoring and after-school programs, support and retain excellent teachers, and ensure safe, well-resourced schools in every neighborhood. We will also strengthen partnerships with parents and communities, because education works best when families are empowered and informed. My goal is simple, every child in Chicago will have the tools, support, and opportunity to succeed. Please Share and Make this go viral. The Security Guard at the CBCF Inc. couldn't hold in his HATE for our President Donald J. Trump he said on camera that he wasn't welcome there. We were loading in at the Congressional Black Caucus, the Caucus didnt even start — the ONLY Republicans in the room — and we were discriminated against. Security even told us “President Trump isn’t welcome here and the staff was very rude to us Republicans.” They tried to erase us. Our name wasn’t even on the sheet. It wasn’t on the map. Make sure you are signing for a candidate whose name you truly want to see on the ballot. Don’t just sign every petition that is put in front of you. It took just 2 weeks for Donald J. Trump President Donald J. Trump to bring down crime in Memphis , two weeks for residents to finally feel safe again. Meanwhile, Democratic leaders like Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and Governor JB Pritzker keep pretending crime is down when we all know it’s not. Let’s be real , when crime is truly down, we can feel it. We don’t need politicians or fake stats to tell us. The people living in these communities can tell the difference. In Memphis, residents are saying their kids can finally play outside again , that’s what real safety looks like. Hey guys, I was Jim Crowed, according to Chuck Schumer, discriminated against, racially targeted according to the Democrats, and I want justice. The airport made me pay $45 because I didn’t have a REAL ID. I had an ID, but they said I had to have a REAL ID, and they made me pay money. I thought I was oppressed and couldn’t afford to get an ID, so how can I afford to pay a fine because I don’t have a REAL ID? I’m just confused, can somebody help me? Could we get a protest or march going for me? Democrats argued that ID requirements to vote are racist, Jim Crow, discriminatory, or hard for people to afford, especially when it comes to voting, so I’m trying to figure out why I was discriminated against, in a Heavy Democratic city, and State . My point is this: if Americans are required to upgrade to a REAL ID to do certain things, then it makes sense that showing a valid ID should also be required to vote. That’s my point . We went to the Congressional Black Caucus setup for tomorrow and was discriminated against , by the party who claim to fight for Democracy. After that, we pulled into Target. As we were getting out of the car a traffic controller who was standing right by our car. Saw our shirts and hats and loudly said, “we don’t fuck with Trump here.” Mind you, we don’t know him , we didn’t speak to him , we were simply exiting our vehicle. Someone called the police to report him . For people to feel comfortable saying and harassing folks like that because they’re brainwashed is ridiculous. They denied us entry into the budget meeting and made us stay downstairs. When they finally let us upstairs, the meeting had already started, and they didn't allow public comments, completely violating our right to participate in a public meeting. This is exactly what they do to silence us. This is what a protest looks like. We're tired, but we’re not stopping. This will not stand. While at the beach this weekend celebrating Father's Day, I couldn't help but think: why are taxpayers being charged to park at public beaches and parks that our tax dollars already pay for? Chicagoans are taxed at every turn. Instead of finding ways to cut wasteful spending, City Hall keeps finding new and creative ways to take more money from working families. It's as if no amount of taxation is ever enough. This is exactly why I am running for Mayor. One of my top priorities during my first 100 days will be launching forensic audits across city government to identify waste, fraud, abuse, and unnecessary spending. We need to find where money is being wasted and reallocate those funds to provide relief to taxpayers. Chicago doesn't have a revenue problem, it has a spending and stealing problem. As Mayor, I will work to reduce the burden on homeowners, taxpayers, businesses, seniors, and working families. We should be looking for ways to lower costs, not create new fees and taxes. There is no reason Chicagoans should feel nickel-and-dimed every time they want to enjoy a public park or public beach that their tax dollars already fund. I’m going to continue showing the reality of what is happening in our city until Chicago citizens finally say, “Enough is enough.” Until Chicagoans are ready for REAL change, REAL accountability, and REAL leadership. Law and order has always been one of my number one priority. My administration will do just that. From the Juneteenth holiday weekend through the Fourth of July holiday weekend, at least 67 people were shot and at least 11 people were killed in Chicago, and that does not even include every shooting that happened between those two holiday periods. Juneteenth weekend (June 19–22, 2026) 47 people were shot, 8 killed and 39 wounded. Fourth of July weekend (2026) show that more than 20 people were shot, with at least 3 people killed during the long holiday weekend. Combined total for those two holiday weekends: About 67 people shot At least 11 people killed This does not include the shootings that occurred in between those two holiday weekends. Families are grieving. Communities are hurting. These are not just statistics, these are mothers, fathers, children, neighbors, and loved ones. We cannot normalize violence. We cannot ignore what people are experiencing on the ground. As Mayor, public safety will be a top priority. I will support our police officers, hold offenders accountable, focus on repeat violent offenders, and work to make every Chicago neighborhood safe.
