Omarchy in 30-ish Minutes! Themes, workspaces, keyboard-first Linux, and agents that eat crash logs. Copilot CLI even tracked down a GPU fix and a touchpad setting I didn’t know existed. Is the MacBook touchpad a thing again? If you’ve been curious but haven’t installed it yet, here’s how I got started.

Even when the end-to-end tests pass, I sometimes want to see a feature working before I approve a PR. The GitHub Copilot app lets me watch my agent run tests, build the app, and check a filter change in the built-in browser canvas. I can verify the behavior without leaving the app or switching windows. Here's a quick walk-through. 👇

Meet Agent Buddy! 🤖 A desk buddy for your AI coding agents. It shows when GitHub Copilot, Claude, Codex, Grok and others are working, need you, or are done. Run it on an ESP32 device, or use the new desktop app. No device needed! Website: Repo: Special thanks to Darren ‘Doc’ Robinson (MVP) 🪪 and Brady Gaster for their PRs!

Working on a little "Learn Omarchy" concept to help people get started more easily. I know you wanted something integrated DHH, so here's my initial attempt at that (for good or for bad). 😀 Very early prototype at this point, but interested in thoughts on the overall concept. Good, bad, useless, amazing? This video focuses on the initial "tour" concept that would kick things off (audio included) - a lot more lessons are available as well.

My AI agent now has a face! 🤖 Idle. Working. Needs a decision. Done. It’s a Waveshare ESP32 on my desk. I pointed Copilot CLI at a photo of the device and ended up with blink, look-around, tap, sleep, and hook-driven states. Also created a web-based "character studio" so I wasn’t flashing firmware after every animation tweak. Full walkthrough of the process in the video! 🎥 Repo:

From error to app update to PR - Using GitHub Copilot App I used Copilot App to debug a WebSocket failure in Zingit, bump the SDKs, run tests, and open a PR -without jumping back and forth between different apps. Walkthrough in the video.

Have you seen this browser feature in GitHub Copilot app? I just stumbled across it - didn't realize it could do this! 🌟 1️⃣ Had it generate some code based on a plan 2️⃣ Once done, it automatically launched the front-end server and backend APIs 3️⃣ It launched the browser canvas in the app 4️⃣ It then loaded pages, searched for products, and clicked through the app all the way to the checkout screen to verify the features were implemented correctly. What!?🤯 First time I've seen that. Normally I'd have to write Playwright tests but it verified it's work automatically. 🚀

How do you get started adding your first project in GitHub Copilot App? Let me walk you through the process. It's easy but there are a lot of great features to know about along the way. 🎥

Do you type or speak faster? I can type pretty fast, but find that using my voice to prompt helps me create more detailed prompts. Here's how you can use your voice in the GitHub Copilot App - works really well! 🎙️

Built Copilot Mission Control to visualize what GitHub Copilot CLI is doing in real time.🌟 It shows: - Active sessions - Tool usage - Input/output tokens - Live activity streams - Replay/time travel - Turns - Full visualization of the entire process A second-monitor dashboard for agent work to look into skills, MCP tools, and more being used. Work in progress - more to come! 🚀
