Some sense of the darkness in Austin as we approached totality. Not a clear view of the sun, and then for about 5 seconds the clouds parted and it was amazing. Also, the lights automatically came on in the skyscrapers! Great to see it amidst a crowd.

Just woke up, after quite a big night in Dublin, and found a million tweets about yesterday’s hurling final. So delighted that so many people enjoyed it. It’s a brilliant spectacle anyway, but that match was a stone-cold classic. Thanks to Clare and Cork for that feast.
