I'll never forget my first Ofsted lesson observation, as an NQT, when they said I couldn't rely on this level of energy to engage and enthuse my class as it would diminish as I got older. I hope they get to watch this, 20 years later. 🤔

Despite my vast years of experience/classical training, can confirm that Deputy Head Girl unanimously won Yorkshire Pudding-Gate Dance Off. My head stand, figure-hugging elf suit & world-class dad-dancing just wasn't enough in the end. Happy kids definitely make better learners❤️

Phone call to parents earlier: "Please can we throw paint at your child, trash their clothes and set off smoke flares?" Hope our ridiculous day of joy and original dance track makes you smile - come on England! #BringItHome🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

WHO’S SAFEGUARDING MY COLLEAGUES? Really appreciate everyone who’s got in touch with their support after my appearance on BBC Breakfast where I talked honestly about why Ofsted must change. So glad people are finally feeling able to speak up. (Thanks for the vid Nick Corston FRSA 🔥🚀)

Just for balance, there are many different ways for pupils to move around school. This is how we roll.

It’s been a year since our children spoke up, went to Parliament and delivered a letter to Downing Street. They didn’t get a reply. The stink in our town is worse than ever. Classrooms smell, the kids don't want to play out and it's affecting the mental health of so many people. This is their message to the Prime Minister. Please share.

Message to staff earlier: "Please face paint the kids, pop on the headbands & bring the flags for a special assembly at 2.30. Thought we could go FB live without a rehearsal, it'll be fun..." Hope this makes you all smile as much as it did us when making it. COME ON ENGLAND!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

The reality has just dawned on me that I’m 45 & only went to the top of the Death Slide because of the peer pressure of about 20 young children & their parents at a random party chanting for me to do it. 🙈 *Look out for the exact moment the fear kicks in. 🤣

As the debate about movement around schools rumbles on, check out the innovative way that our SLT have reduced response times.
