Talk about being in the right place at the right time. 🙌 A Houston pressure washer came across an SUV engulfed in flames before firefighters arrived — and realized the equipment he already had could help. Instead of driving past, he jumped into action, using his pressure washer to battle the flames until help arrived. I dare you to watch this without laughing. 😂 This was music class for a group of 3-year-olds in Levittown, New York. The song had a little surprise, and this little boy thought it was the funniest thing he’d ever heard. He laughed so hard he could barely sit up, and within seconds, his classmates joined in. That’s the thing about joy. It spreads. You can’t help it. Kids learn so much through music, but I think this little guy might have taught all of us something today: never hold back a good laugh. Here’s the police body cam video showing what happened when a Hertz worker at the New Orleans airport called police because a Puerto Rican man kept insisting that his drivers license was valid. The Hertz worker denied the man his pre paid rental car because he couldn’t present his passport. The Hertz worker thought Puerto Rico was another country and so she insisted the man needed to show a passport. He didn’t. He is a U.S. citizen as are all Puerto Ricans. This body cam video was first obtained by FOX 8 New Orleans. You can judge for yourself the unidentified Kenner PD officers demeanor / behavior. Marchand found it to be extremely rude and demeaning. As for the Hertz worker, she seen on video saying to the customer, Humberto Marchand: “Because you recorded as you’re not gonna be able to rent from Hertz ever!” That’s not true. Hertz has already apologized to Mr. Marchand publicly and stated that the employees were wrong and will be retained. It is clear that neither the officer, nor the Hertz employee, know that Marchand is right: his driver’s license is as valid as any other license issued in any other state. He didn’t need to show a passport to anyone. The officer could’ve provided clarity to the situation based on the fact that Puerto Rico is not a foreign country. He did not or was unaware of that fact. In my initial report, I stated that Marchand heard the officer say that he would call border authorities. The body cam video does not show that. As FOX 8 New Orleans’s Andrés Fuentes reported, the officer said: “Do not come back up here and cause any more disturbances.” In the body camera video, Marchand asks, “You’re going to call what? Border services?”

An Arlington, TX Police officer in Texas tells a Puerto Rican man his Puerto Rican license isn’t valid in Texas and writes him a ticket for having no valid drivers license I called the police department and they acknowledged the officer was wrong and they dropped the ticket. Luis Angel Alvelo Gonzalez was recently cited by this Arlington police officer for: Stop, Stand, or Park on Sidewalk No Valid Driver’s License – Unlicensed (Now Dropped) Improper Window Tint or Material Obstructing Windshield or Side / Rear Window What is surprising is that the officer did nothing to look into whether or not the license was valid, despite Luis’ repeated polite, insistence, that the ID was valid. The officer dismissed it and said you can fight it in court. I called the police department and they acknowledged what we know: Puerto Rico drivers licenses are valid in any state in the United States. A Puerto Rico drivers license is as valid as any drivers license in any state in the United States of America.

Spirit Airlines told a Puerto Rican mother to provide her toddlers passport, but when she couldn’t, she says an airline agent & a supervisor refused to allow her & her family to fly from California to the island of Puerto Rico. Statement from Spirit Airlines : “Spirit has a long history of serving Puerto Rico, and we offer about 25 daily flights to three destinations on the island. In this specific case, an agent at LAX who is new to the position misunderstood the identification requirements. We are providing the agent with additional coaching and reiterating proper procedure. We sincerely apologize to our Guest and their family for the inconvenience, and we issued a refund for the tickets and provided them with future travel vouchers.”

A family's flight to Brazil became one of their most treasured memories, thanks to an American Airlines crew that went out of their way to make a Deaf child feel like the star of the show. Before boarding began, the pilot pulled the boy's mother aside with an invitation: once everyone was settled, bring Luca up to the cockpit. They wanted to show him around. "So obviously, we did," she said. It was a first for her too. The cockpit had always been that mysterious space behind the closed door, the one passengers never get to see. Walking in, she admitted, she felt like a kid herself. But watching her son's face made the moment unforgettable. The crew rolled out the full experience: they set the captain's hat on his head, pinned on a pair of wings just for him, walked him through the controls, and let him settle into the pilot's seat to take it all in. Not to be left out of the moment, Luca's mom taught the pilots the sign for "pilot," a small exchange that turned into one of the sweetest parts of the whole encounter. "It was such a sweet interaction," she said. "The pilots were so kind and genuinely excited to include him." It wasn't a moment they'd planned for or expected. But somewhere between the captain's hat and the wings, an ordinary boarding process became a memory the family says they'll hold onto.
