Today, I rose in the House to speak on Bill C-9. Bill C-9 is a direct attack on fundamental freedoms in this country. I will stand with the Canadians who wrote to me and with faith communities across this country. I cannot and will not support Bill C-9.

In Carney’s “new world order,” when did China go from our greatest security threat to a “strategic partner”? Canadians deserve answers.

Ottawa MP Bruce Fanjoy claimed he “represents a rural riding” during today’s Environment Committee study on EVs — right before boasting about driving his EV to work in Ottawa. Yet another Liberal proving how out of touch they are with the realities of rural life in Canada — where long drives, harsh conditions, and tough jobs demand vehicles that actually work for farmers, ranchers, and tradespeople.

The Liberals' EV mandate is a direct attack on farmers, truckers, and working Canadians. Today, I spoke in the House to call out the fantasy—and defend the people who keep this country running. No more mandates. No more lectures. Just common sense. Watch & share. 👇 #bowriver

Every time this Prime Minister hops on another taxpayer-funded jet, hard-working Canadians get stuck with the bill and nothing else to show for it.

Today I introduced my Private Member’s Bill C-273, the FARM Act — cutting red tape and getting farmers faster access to proven tools. 90-day approval for feeds, seeds, fertilizers, and pest control products already approved in trusted jurisdictions such as the EU, US, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Expands the Food and Drugs Act to fast-track veterinary drugs. A no-cost measure that fixes regulatory failures such as excessive red tape and duplicative, costly reviews that delay and block access to safe, proven agricultural tools. Maintains strong Canadian safety oversight. Boosts competitiveness, productivity, and farm incomes. Supports food security and helps lower costs for families at the grocery store.

Urban bureaucrats don’t understand rural reality. At Environment Committee, I pressed Megan Nichols from Environment and Climate Change Canada on how the Liberals’ EV mandate will affect access to vehicles that actually meet the needs of Canadians in rural and remote communities. Rural Canadians deserve real choices, not Ottawa’s one-size-fits-all mandates.
