The PM and other major party politicians are getting their figures from the gas industry rather than the ATO and Treasury 🤯 Whose side are they on? When you try and interrogate these figures from the gas lobby you get “PAGE NOT FOUND”. You cannot make this stuff up! Head to to get involved. The Shell Australia Country Chair just told the Senate committee that 6 or 7 gas companies have contributed $1 million each to fund a huge campaign against a gas export tax 🤯 and smaller companies have also contributed. Gas companies are spending millions to ensure Australians aren't paid a fair share for the export of our gas. Go to to help fight back against their propaganda.

We have to start treating housing as something we want to be affordable, not just an investment vehicle so reforms that use tax settings to incentivise new housing supply are welcome. But I have concerns about how CGT changes could impact startups and small businesses. I've written to the Treasurer anout this & raised concerns with the Assistant Treasurer. We have a chance to ensure better tax treatment for people investing in Australian startups and help keep those startups in 🇦🇺 as they grow.

We don’t have a gas shortage, we have a gas export problem. Australian gas should go to Australians first. Redirecting uncontracted gas to 🇦🇺 would solve any ‘shortages’ we may have and bring down prices for manufacturers, businesses and households. The major parties have to stop prioritising foreign multinationals and other countries over Australian households and businesses.

I don't think it's fair for the government to change the tax rules for Australians and Australian small businesses but rule out changing the tax settings for major multinational companies from data centres to the gas industry. Australians deserve a fair return. Go to and join the call for a 25% tax on gas exports.

Mortgage repayments & rents are going through the roof while the RBA signals its intention to continue increasing interest rates. Surely there’s a better way to cool the economy without pulling cash out of the pockets of Australians & pouring it into the coffers of the banks.

Ignoring this advice entrenches inequality & leaves people in our communities behind, including the 1 in 6 children growing up in poverty. As a wealthy country we can ensure people aren't having to choose between medicine & food so they can get back on their feet & contribute.

Labor, Liberals and Nationals voted against making Ministers’ diaries publicly available, as is done in other countries and in states here in Australia. This is an important part of transparency and knowing who is being consulted and influencing decisions being made by Ministers. Thanks to @JacquiLambie and the crossbench for pushing this issue.
