The recently completed Fr Russell Rd scheme from #ActiveTravelLimerick is a game changer for children in local schools! Traffic calming has slowed cars that were routinely doing 100km on a 50km route. New footpath and bike lanes mean it’s finally safe to walk & cycle to school!

Great to see the #ActiveTravelLimerick team get the St Nessan’s NS section of the R510 project done in time for the return for school! Credit from the top down in Limerick Council - Comhairle Luimnigh to respond to my request to fast track this section over the school holidays. 👍👍👍
