Excited to share Profound has raised a $180M Series D, co-led by Sequoia Capital and Kleiner Perkins. Winning in AI Search requires an inhuman amount of work. That is why we are building the AI platform for marketers, underpinned by two things: 1/ Your AI Marketer, a marketing expert that proactively investigates your data, identifies opportunities, and then does the work while you stay in the loop. 2/ Context Manager, a living synthesis of your meetings, email threads, and brand data powering this new teammate. As your brand evolves, so does your AI Marketer. AI labs are pushing the frontier in fields like engineering, law, and finance. But marketing, one of the economy's most complex and consequential applications, has received far less attention. That’s why we’re expanding our applied AI research team. We’re bringing together research scientists, engineers, and IOI medalists to advance AI for marketing. Their focus: post-training models for marketing workflows, and building the world's first AI benchmark for real-world tasks in the field.

Today, is excited to announce our $96M Series C at a $1B valuation, led by Lightspeed with participation from Sequoia Capital, Kleiner Perkins, Matt Miller, Saga and . When we started Profound 18 months ago, we had two fundamental beliefs about where marketing is heading: 1. Every company will care deeply about how AI talks about their brand. 2. The Marketing Engineer is the most important hire a marketing team can make in 2026. Not to run campaigns, but to build the agents that run them. Today we're introducing a new role to the marketing org: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 We believe every business on the planet will eventually need one. Their job is to build the Agents, automations, and systems that create a new kind of marketing. Part-builder, part-strategist. They build Agents that monitor media coverage, flag sentiment shifts, and draft journalist outreach before your PR team even knows there's a story. They build Agents that track every competitor move, grade its severity, and rewrite your battle cards and talk tracks before your next sales call. They build Agents that turn every webinar into a brand-voice article, refreshed weekly and queued for your team to review before posting. Our first marketing hire Nick Lafferty has already become 's Founding Marketing Engineer, the first person to hold this title at a company fully behind it. Every marketing team on the planet will use AI to do their jobs better. But to build truly impactful systems, you need an owner and an orchestrator. That's the Marketing Engineer.

Today, is launching Aim, the first background agent purpose-built for marketers. For months, we've been obsessed with one problem: dashboards tell you what's happening, but not how to act on the data. Aim is the agent harness designed specifically for marketing. Aim is trained from scratch on Profound's proprietary data, grounded in our research, and understands how marketers get work done. Aim analyzes your AI Search data, Prompt Volumes, competitive insights, and Knowledge Base to surface the opportunities worth acting on. It finds the anomalies that matter so you can spend your time on what moves the needle. Every Project comes with a data-backed brief and recommended tasks. From there, you can: • Chat with Aim to refine the plan • Deploy the custom Agent in one click • Track progress automatically Aim is your newest teammate keeping you moving in the right direction, working 24/7.

New ship 🚢 Thanks to our partnership, Profound Agents now have a Noble node so you can secure brand mentions on auto-pilot. Now, you can build an Agent that: 1/ Knows the prompts that matter most to your brand 2/ Finds the third-party sources AI platforms are citing for those prompts 3/ Filters to the citations where your brand is not mentioned 4/ And exports those citation domains directly to your Noble workspace 5/ Then, Noble reaches out to publishers, negotiates placement, drafts content, and handles payment. You review the offers and accept with a click. We're shipping new pieces to Profound's action layer every week. But this one is especially exciting, because it means our customers can automate one of the biggest opportunities in AI Search: getting mentioned in more third-party citations. Huge thanks to Rahul Jain, Joshua Budman, and Nick Talone at Noble, plus Jack Traina, Nitish Natarajan, and Eliott Lee on Profound's side for shipping this. Learn more here:

Working on a vector map data importer for Figma. Zoom and pan to a geographic area & the plugin imports layers into the Figma document for easy editing & styling. Labels, buildings, roads, water, land are all included as separate groups. Who would be interested in using this?

Comparing visual differences across cartography styles can sometimes be difficult & tedious. With CartoInspector, a map editing & viewing tool, designers can compare map style changes with multiple display modes: - discrete (side by side) - continuous (shared viewport)
