🔥Young DBs…📝Get the notebook out Jalen Ramsey is making some key points to playing Defensive Back. ✅TOOL BOX MEANS: ➡️Press: You have your go to technique and (A Change Up) ➡️Off Technique: You have your normal loose man pedal (Situationally you need to be able to Play some Catch/Skootch) ➡️Scheme: All Up to the Play-caller 😂😂😂 #YourTechniqueMatters

As a coach. I LOVE THIS PASSION. My man knows how serious it is to be SUCCESSFUL and how to stay on the ROSTER. “Communication” is the 🔑 to success‼️ 🔥“There’s more to being a football player than just playing”🔥 “Your volume in communication breeds confidence”

Young DBs, 📝 There will be a time where you get to the point where you know your job, you execute your assignments to a tee. Now you need to start separating yourself from the others and become ELITE‼️ - At that moment PRODUCTIVITY will matter, are you taking the 🏈 away from the offense, are you forcing them into NEGATIVE SITUATIONS? If so, you’ve become IRREPLACEABLE now keep BUILDING

Young DBs, You can’t be afraid to step into the leadership role. Understand what that entails though, it’s not about having the loudest voice in the locker room. You better be‼️ ✅ The guy that’s accountable ✅ The guy that doesn’t skip reps ✅ The guy that reaches the expectations of the program - There’s a difference between being a BUDDY and being a LEADER - A BUDDY keeps teammates accountable when it’s convenient, and doesn’t want to ruffle feathers - A LEADER keeps teammates accountable in a positive way all the time, because he knows what’s at stake.

DB Technique: Wipe & Replace Technique - Young DBs, here is a way to work the separation WR’s attempt to create downfield - It’s your job to cover them, that means sticking to them like glue, there should never be an excuse that he’s pushing off. I don’t want to hear it‼️
